Communications
Proud to Prosper
with the best
Intro
It was once described to me by a lecturer in my HDip in Psychology that it ‘all boils down to communication’. For your staff at all levels to prosper, they need to be effective communicators.
Getting communication right across your teams facilitates you as a business to prosper. Getting it wrong in a business causes bottlenecks and conflict.
1-1 support and/or bespoke communications workshops for teams can ensure your staff and you collectively prosper. We can deliver these offering for you.

Again the most effective work in this area tends to be the most bespoke session, tailored to your specific needs. That being said, the following is a sample six-session programme to develop staff across all key elements of communication. All sessions are between 2-3 hours in length.

Testimonials
"What is great about working with John is he creates an open, safe space for people to share without putting pressure on, if people do not feel comfortable to do so. Having come from the corporate world himself and experiencing an early careers programme, John understands the challenges our people face and can relate to them."
“I worked with John as I was moving into a leadership role. He helped me define and set my leadership vision, challenged me where he knew I could do more & asked all of the hard questions! If you need some help defining your vision for the future or support in identifying areas in which "pivots" are needed, I would really recommend working with John.”
“Great communications skills session with Prosper with John. John was a great moderator that got everyone engaged. I received great feedback from the team after the session and I can see people employing these skills in their day to day activities.”
“I worked with John as I was transitioning into a new role and the support that was provided was invaluable. John helped me structure my thoughts, set achievable goals, held me accountable and, above all else, challenged me to push myself. I would highly recommend his services to anyone that is looking for support in their career development regardless of job type.”
"John's sessions enabled me to focus on the smaller details of communicating to a larger audience that I would have otherwise neglected. These small details, in my opinion, make the difference when it comes to an effective presentation. As a result of John's sessions, I feel much more confident to communicate to a group on any topic (with a little preparation of course!)"
"John has a lovely manner and approach which got everyone involved, and facilitated very effective working sessions. Communication in advance of the sessions and throughout the days onsite was seamless, which made the process run smoothly and stress free."
"We have had the pleasure of working with John over a number of years, where he participated as a panellist and seminar host at several of our gradireland events. John is an accomplished, passionate speaker, with a natural ability to command the attention of his audience. As a genuinely warm character, he has an openness which is very well received by audiences fortunate enough to learn from his insights and experiences."
Frequently Asked Questions
Both have a role to play. Group work can be helpful, especially when it relates to a team. 1-1 support, which in essence is coaching, is incredibly impactful for communications.
As a general rule, shorter is better than longer. We tend not to do sessions longer than half a day. It will depend on what is trying to be achieved.
We hugely believe in the power of practice in sessions of this nature. That being said, it is unlikely that it will involve role-play. Again, it will depend on the requirement.
It is our belief that the earlier you can learn about communications the better. So we deliver sessions on this topic to early careers groups right the way through to leadership teams.
Yes, we do so both for groups and for individuals. We see a growing number of coaching requests come in for this topic.
